Gray administration, teachers and staff understand the parents’ need for students to possess a cell/watch phone. However, cell/watch phones are allowed in school only after parents have submitted a signed cell phone policy form. Parents who allow their child to bring a cell/watch phone to school will accept complete responsibility for the phone if it should be lost, stolen or broken. All other electronic devices are prohibited and should not be brought to school.
To preserve the safety and security of all students and staff members, all cell/watch phones must be turned off in the building at all times. Cell/watch phones must be secured in student lockers and backpacks during the school day.
Cell/watch phones used in school or on school grounds during school hours will be confiscated and only returned to parents or guardians on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm
The school will not be responsible for lost or stolen cell/watch phones.
