This week our community will be celebrating Respect Week (March 3-7, 2025). This week is dedicated to disability awareness. Students will be learning about different disabilities and practicing what it means to be respectful to everyone in their community.
Each day, the students will wear a color representing a specific disability. There will be in-school activities to highlight each disability and on Friday, we will end the week with karaoke in the lunchroom.
What you can do at home:
Talk with your students about what it means to be disabled and discuss what makes them unique and how we can relate!
