Class of 2026 Information

Students need to arrive by 9:30 am
Doors will be open at 9:40 am for families to enter
 
NOTE:  Decorating or writing on the graduation caps is NOT ALLOWED
 
Each student will receive 5 tickets, which will be given out Thursday, May 28, 2026.

How to Pay the graduation fees
 

Please note the following regarding fee payments:

  • Fees MUST be paid using your Parent Portal Account.

  • If you do not have an account, please call the school for information on how to set one up.

  • E-PAY should only be used as an alternative if absolutely necessary.

 
 
After calling the school office, if necessary, you can use the QR code to go to the E-Pay payment site.

1.  Click Make a One Time Payment. 
2.  Enter your student's information in all the boxes.  If you don't know their ID number, enter 111.
3. Scroll down to the graduation drop down and click on it. (photo below)
4. Select which fee you would like to pay by clicking on "Select Graduation Fee."
5. If you would like to pay for multiple fees at once, click on the plus sign to the right.

SCHOOL FEE
Cost:  $ 50.00
 
• Fees MUST be paid using Parent Portal Account. 
• If parent has no access to Parent Portal account, please call the school for assistance. 
• If absolutely necessary, parent can use E-PAY to pay fees.  (see above for instructions).​
• If paying by cash or money orders, fees need to be in an envelope with the student's name, homeroom and PURPOSE OF FEE.  Student will receive a receipt of payment.

GRADUATION FEE

• In order for students to receive their Cap & Gown, the graduation fee must be paid. 
• Keep in mind that the Cap and Gown is needed for the 8th Grade pictures.
Graduation Fee covers the following items:  Cap and gown, ribbon, diploma cover, autograph book, awards as applicable. 
Graduation fees are non-refundable. If your student does not graduate with the class in June, they will receive all commencement materials and items upon successful completion of summer school.  (please see Ms. Martinez for more information - Door 1)
 
GRADUATION PICTURES
School Fees and Graduation fee must be paid for student to receive cap and gown.
 
Send No Money On Picture Day.

• Each student will be photographed in four different poses: two in dress clothes and two in the graduation cap and gown. All photos will be 3/4 body shots (mid-thigh up) or closer. Students should wear appropriate dress attire.
 
• Graduates should NOT wear up-do hairstyles or hair accessories that will interfere with the fit of the graduation cap.
 
• Approximately two weeks after the pictures are taken, a proof and order form will be sent home for review. A variety of packages are available. Parents have two weeks from the date the form is sent home to place an order without incurring shipping fees.
 
• Picture day is a day of attendance. Since pictures will be taken during the first three hours of school, students must arrive promptly at 8:00 AM sharp.

CLASS T-SHIRTS

GRAY ELEMENTARY
8th Grade T-Shirt Design Contest
 
Show off our CREATIVE Talent - Winner will receive a prize
 
Accepting Submissions from November 1st - November 14th
 
Submit an appropriate drawing, picture or phrase that represents Gray and your 8th Grade Graduating Class of 2026!
 
Submit your designs to Mr. LeBron by no later than November 14th. 
 
Voting will take place in homerooms on November 21st. 
 
 
Order information for t-shirts will be sent at a later date

DINNER DANCE
The dance will take place at Gray Elementary from 5pm-7pm

CLASS TRIP
Event place:  Dave & Busters Trip (The trip includes lunch)
Cost:  $ 60 (Payments can be submitted online or to the Primary Office - Door 1)
Date:  Friday, May 22, 2026
Payment due:  Friday, February 27, 2026
 
 
This is an attendance day so students must be in school at 8 am
 
PLAN AHEAD:
 
WEATHER:   Be aware of the weather the day of the class trip.
DRESS CODE:   Students will need to adhere to the school's "Dress Down Day" policy.  If not allowed to wear it at school, you cannot wear it on the trip.  If not dressed properly, student will be given a Gray School uniform to wear on the trip.
FOOD:  Lunch will be provided.
MISCELLANEOUS:  Students may bring phones, cameras, backpacks, and/or spending money. However, bring at own risk as Gray School and staff is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
BEHAVIOR:  A student's behavior on the trip may limit the student's participation in future 8th grade events.
 
 

PICNIC / PARADE

The picnic/parade will take place in school on Thursday, May 28, 2026
