Protocol for School Visitors

In order to ensure the proper level of security within our school and best control and monitor the flow of guests, we have visitor protocols in place. We appreciate your understanding and support as we ensure the safety of our school.

-  All visitors to the school buildings must enter via the main entrance - Primary Building Door #1 and Upper grade Building Door #14.

-  All visitors must go to the main office and state the purpose of their visit and sign-in.  You will be given a visitor's badge and must be worn when visitors are inside of the school. 

-  Office staff will verify appointments or other reasons for the visit.

-  Visitors attending school functions that are open to the public, such as parent-teacher conference days or public gatherings, are not required to sign in at the main office.

-  It is imperative that visitors do not hold the door open for others behind them.  Each visitor must be acknowledged individually through the buzzer system.

-  No visitors are to enter the building during dismissal.  If you will be picking your child up early, you must notify the office in writing prior to dismissal.  If it is an emergency, call the office to notify the school.
